asterix is part of ME. shane grew up reading these instead of my school journal. they took shane on adventures and encouraged his love of cartooning. he teams up with tintin and chuck. the brown skin colour, feathers and moko reference my maori heritage. tu meke bro! this has been finished with old varnish and an old brush to give that ‘retro kids room’ art look, dust and all!
